Timothy Saulsbury

Timothy Saulsbury,
MSPT, DPT

Tim graduated from Buena Vista in 1985 with a BS in Biology. He then earned his Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota in 1995 and in 2012 he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In 2000, he and Kevin Poss opened Physical Therapy Specialists PC. Dr. Saulsbury specializes in orthopedic and industrial physical therapy. He is certified in performing functional capacity evaluations and has extensive experience in Pre-Employment screenings and job site analysis. He received his Industrial Health Certification in 2016.  Tim is a life long resident of Sioux City and is married to Maria. Together they have four children; James, Charlie, Michael and Delaney.

Kevin Poss

Kevin Poss,
MPT, DPT

Kevin is a Sioux City native, he graduated from Briar Cliff College, received his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa in 1995 and his doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. He founded Physical Therapy Specialists in 2000 along with Tim Saulsbury. Kevin has had success in treating musculoskeletal dysfunction due to extensive training in manual and sports PT through the University of St. Augustine as well as the Institute of Physical Art. He has advanced training in gait analysis, evaluation and casting for custom molded foot & hand orthotics. He is a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) to treat patients with dry needling technique. Kevin spends most of his free time chasing his 9 grandchildren. Kevin also serves as deacon in his church.

Kate Vlach

Kate Vlach,

A Sioux City native, Kate graduated from Augustana College with her Bachelor of Arts in Biology.  She graduated from Des Moines University-Osteopathic Medical Center in 2002 with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Kate has 15 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and has been in the Physical Therapy Specialists’ family since 2006.  She works with a variety of ages from orthopedic injuries to total joint rehabilitation to workman’s compensation injuries.  She has completed coursework in functional manual therapy and Vestibular Rehablitation to treat patients with Vertigo, Dizziness and Balance Disorders.  Kate is married with two boys, Ben and Will.

Megan Snoozy

Megan Snoozy,
DPT, COMT, CSCS

Megan Snoozy has been practicing physical therapy since 2005 in the outpatient orthopedic setting.  She currently holds certifications in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) and is a Certified Manual Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT) allowing her to offer trigger point dry needling as a service to her patients. Megan has additional experience and training in addressing craniofacial and temperomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction which assists with jaw pain/restrictions, neck pain and headaches.  She also is a Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Megan graduated from Dakota Valley High School, University of Nebraska Lincoln, and obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2005. Megan has been a part of Physical Therapy Specialists team since 2012 and is currently the clinic coordinator at the Dakota Dunes location which opened in April 2016.

Megan enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 3 children and their activities.

Jeanne Jones

Jeanne Jones,
PT

Jeanne and her husband moved to the Sioux City area in early July 2019 after her husband accepted a job at VT Industries.  Jeanne graduated from Finch University/Chicago Medical School and worked in the Northwest Indiana area in outpatient therapy for 10 years.  Her family moved to Southern Indiana after she had twin girls and worked in several clinic settings for the next 20 years.  Her practice has been focused on outpatient therapy, helped start a women's health program, lectured on osteoporosis, incontinence and fibromalyalgia.  She has alsoworked in hospital settings, home health and a chiropractic office with her wide range of continuing education background.  She enjoys working with chronic pain patients, patients with fibromyalgia, low back and pelvic pain, as well as headaches/TMJ pain. She and her husband look forward to exploring the west coast and surrounding states, now that their daughters are pursuing their careers and passion in southern Indiana.

Shayla Kayl

Shayla was born and raised in North Sioux City and went to Dakota Valley High School.  She graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology.  She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2019.  Shayla joined Physical Therapy Specialists Dakota Dunes location in August of 2021 and is very excited to be working in her hometown! She enjoys working with patients of all ages and with a variety of diagnoses. In her free time, Shayla loves to stay active and has competed in four Tough Mudder races.

Meghan Nelson

Meghan Nelson,
DPT

Dr. Meghan Nelson was born and raised in Sioux City and graduated from Bishop Heelan High School.  She received her BS in Biology from the University of Iowa in 1999 and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota in 2007.  Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings including home health, skilled nursing facilities, pediatrics and outpatient clinics. Meghan offers a variety of other specialties in physical therapy.  She is a Professional Yoga Therapist who offers Medical Therapeutic Yoga (MTY), an integrative healthcare approach in reducing pain, and improving strenth, mobility, and function.  She is a certified lymphedema therapist, she holds a certification in LSVT BIG treatment for individuals with Parkinson's Disease, and she holds specialization in vestibular therapy to treat individuals with vertigo and/or dizziness.  She has a Function Dry Needling Level 1 certifcation to help assist with restoring muscular tension and function and decreasing myofascial pain.  Meghan holds her E-RYT-200 from Evolve Yoga and has completed a 45-hour training "Yoga for the Special Child" as well as certification in gentle and chair yoga.  She is a life-long learner and looks forward to further trainings in women's health and pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Meghan is married to her husband Ryan and they have three busy and active children, Liam, Nolan and Sawyer.  They all enjoy the outdoors, exploring and traveling, roadtrips, or just staying busy with racing between events, working together in the kitchen or snuggling on the couch with their dog Winnie.

Jodi Stevenson

Jodi Stevenson,
PTA

Jodi graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree and from Western Iowa Technical College with an Associates degree from the Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Jodi has extensive training in aquatic physical therapy and has concentrated her continuing education in manual therapy. She has treated patients with sports injuries from running to golf. Jodi has also treated numerous patients with total joint replacement rehab. She started with PT Specialists in December 2000 and has been a valued employee since. Jodi has been a volunteer at the S.T.A.R.S (Special Troopers Adaptive Riding School) program for over 15 years. Jodi and her husband Doug are dog lovers and have a Samoyed named Aspen.  She is an avid runner and has a special interest in running and gait rehab.

John Hildman

John works at the Physical Therapy Clinic onsite at Tyson Foods in Dakota City, NE.    A lifelong Sioux City resident, John and his wife, Jennifer – an Occupational Therapist, have two girls:  Kelsey and Addison.  John has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Politcal Science from Buena Vista University.  He received his Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Western Iowa Tech.  He has experience in PT for long term care facilities and workman’s compensation  at Tyson since 2012.  John’s hobbies include movies, reading, watching football, science fiction and military history.  He is a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Corrina Steckelberg

Corrina is a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Dakota Dunes location.  She received her PTA degree from Western Iowa Tech in 2014.  Corrina is certified in Sound Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (SASTM).  She is married to Andrew and they have two boys (Gunner and Wyatt).  She enjoys spending her time watching them in archery, soccer, wrestling and baseball.  Corrina also shares her talent and love for photography with the staff at PTS by taking our business photos.

Kathy Belvin

Kathy has been with PT Specialists since 2015.  She does billing and credentialing at the clinic.  Kathy and her husband Dan have 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters, which they are enjoying very much!  She likes to play golf and bake for any occasion.

Bobbi Jo Harsma

Bobbi Jo Harsma,
Insurance/work comp

Bobbi Jo has been with our office since 2011.  She was our front desk receptionist until recently, now working as our insurance/work comp specialist.  She is enjoying the change and willing to learn all she can.

She has 3 children, a son and twin daughters, all out of high school and pursuing their careers.

She enjoys spending week-ends camping with her fiance Dale, family and friends or any other plans they have!

Judy Jaminet

Retired

Judy has worked in the medical office setting since 1977 and joined Physical Therapy Specialists in September 2000. She retired from PTS in 2016.   Judy is married to Robert and they have two children; Ann and Shawn and two grandchildren Mikayla and Christopher as well as Bailey a Scottish Terrier. Her hobbies are antiquing, quilting and sewing. We are thankful to her for her many years of dedicated service and friendship to PT Specialists.
